Having a Feast in Cardiff with Friends

I just arrived from Dublin, looking forward to a short visit here in Cardiff. My dear friend Roger and his family was looking forward to my long awaited arrival. They were very eager to show me around Cardiff, and also keen to introduce me to some of the best restaurants in the area. Their son was a regular at most of the fast food joints. He told me that you can order online from any of these restaurants. We went around to our first place at Burger King in Queen Street.

We managed to pick up our first Burger King Vouchers – Melt n Middles only £2.49. We collected three of these, to use once we’ve lunched. What tempted me was the Double Cheeseburger King Deal at £3.49. But I opted for the Cheeseburger King deal at £2.49 instead. This place was great for having a light lunch. On average I would say you spend just under £10 per person. My experience here at Burger King was okay, but I have seen better.

We have heard lots of people rave about Pizza Hut. So we thought of giving them a try. As I am a lover of pizza, I am always on the look out for discount vouchers. This was the first thing I looked for when entering Pizza Hut. They happen to have some Pizza Hut Vouchers that we thought could be used. This is what was on offer. Free Unlimited Salad All Day Everyday at Pizza Hut – exp 10/11/2011, £5 Best Ever Pizza plus Free Unlimited Salad – Exp 3/11/2011. Now, that was a little disappointing to say the least. What we could use though, was the Kids Eat Free Voucher. So, we went right ahead and ordered our meal.

Pizza Hut is known to be a renowned company. That is why we gave them a try. It could prove to be a good choice in eating some scrumptious pizza or pasta. Our meal turned out to be a little spendy, being four people and only my friend’s son getting a good deal. Overall our experience here was not too shabby. I just knew there had to be something better out there. So I went searching online, and this is what I found.

I came across what I thought would prove to be the best. Pizza Express in Cardiff Bay. The thing that really appealed to me is that it is situated next to the waterside. I was also very impressed that I could request my Pizza Express Vouchers, using my Iphone. The advert that caught my attention read, “Pizza Express is leading high street restaurant. Grab a Pizza Express Voucher for the hottest special offers” I did not need more encouragement.

I downloaded the following vouchers. 2 Takeaway Classic Pizzas Only £10. Another download was for £5 off Food and Drink Bill over £20 at Pizza Express. These vouchers expire 4th of December 2011. You can guess where we will be going for pizza. We saved well over £15 if not more. Roger had the Caesar Salad starter. The adults had some good ice cold Italian beer. I had the very exciting Francesco Mazzei Calabrese Pizza. It consisted of Calabrese sausage, hot soft  duja sausage, green chillies, roquito peppers, red & yellow peppers, mozzarella, rocket, pesto, oregano, grana padano. Overall our experience with Pizza Express was fantastic. I will make it one of my regular stops in the future. I even got to pay my bill using my Iphone. I would say that people save on a daily basis, by going to Pizza Express Food Chain.
